Planned giving ensures that children and families continue to find hope, healing, and opportunity at Kurn Hattin for years to come. Whether you’re honoring a personal connection, inspired by our mission of transforming children’s lives, or looking to make a lasting difference, your planned gift becomes part of something enduring: a child’s fresh start and future success.
Unless otherwise directed, most planned gifts are added to our Board Designated Endowment—now named the Heart of Kurn Hattin Endowment. This fund secures the long-term sustainability of Kurn Hattin’s residential and educational programs. Your legacy helps secure Kurn Hattin as a place of growth and belonging for children whose families face difficult circumstances.
Few organizations make this kind of lasting commitment with every planned gift. At Kurn Hattin, your generosity doesn’t just meet today’s needs. It lights the way for tomorrow.
Planned giving can be simpler than you think. Here are a few options to consider with your advisor:
Disclaimer: Please consult your attorney or financial advisor to determine the best planned giving option for your circumstances.
A Charitable Gift Annuity (CGA) allows you to invest in two futures: yours and a child’s. With a gift of cash, appreciated stocks, or bonds, you’ll receive fixed income payments for life. When the time comes, the remaining funds will support Kurn Hattin’s mission.
Benefits include:
The minimum gift is $10,000, and the minimum age is 65. Additional charitable gift annuities may be acquired at any time. A gift annuity contribution is irrevocable.
If you’re interested in setting up a CGA or learning more, we’re happy to help guide you.
The Bridge Builder Society honors visionary donors who have invested $10,000 or more in the Bright Future Endowment or other Board Designated Funds.
This special circle is named for early supporters like Mary Beardsley Fenn and her husband, Francis, whose commitment helped ensure that the work of Kurn Hattin would continue for generations. Today, Bridge Builder Society members’ planned gifts carry that legacy forward.
We would be honored to speak with you about creating a legacy that reflects your values and compassion. For more information, contact:
